I think it’s a myth that every man looks after themselves nowadays.
You’ve got your David Beckham’s and Bradley Cooper’s of the world who clearly spend a lot of time grooming and taking care of themselves both inside and out, and yes we do seem to be in a world where many men will end up spending more time in the bathroom than women.
However, there are still the Liam Gallagher’s and Pete Dohertys out there who don’t seem to care at all, what with their monobrows and unruly hair, they undoubtedly need a bit of pampering – if not for themselves but for the sake of their other halves or even for attracting a potential partner!
So if you have a male friend who could look after themselves a little bit better and you want to give them a not so subtle nudge in the right direction, here are a few gift ideas to give them a helping hand:
I think every man should treat himself to a bit of pampering, and this Arabian Rasul steam vault is a treat to the body like no other.
This is a great gift for a male friend or partner who may suffer from dry or spotty skin, as this mud treatment will completely cleanse the body with loads of different kinds of mineralising mud and natural salts that will leave the man with the silkiest skin!
There may even be an opportunity to have extra treatments at the health spa, such as a good wax on that monobrow or a nice clean wet shave by a skilled barber’s blade.
This is a great gift as part of a spa day as it will also mean that he can take advantage of other facilities, which depending on where you book could include a gym, sauna, steam room, hydro pool and Jacuzzi. A great gift for the mind and body!
Personalised nutrition and fitness plan
Now this gift idea could be taken in the wrong way, so be careful that the male you present it to isn’t a sensitive soul, as this can help with making someone much fitter, as well as helping them to potentially lose weight!
So you don’t want them to think that you’re judging them and telling them that they’re fat!
I do know a couple of male friends who would really appreciate a gift like this as it can really teach you how to look after yourself from both the inside and out, by teaching you how to eat healthily without punishing yourself through pointless quick fix diets, as well as giving advice on the best exercises.
Now this would be an amazing gift for someone who is looking to change their image for the better, especially for those wanting to attract a potential new partner through online dating sites, as the professional photographs can be used as their profile picture!
This type of gift will usually involve a consultation with a stylist who will treat, cut and style the guy’s hair to make him look as fantastic and well groomed as possible, before being set loose in front of that camera.
Most photo shoots will also include a complimentary print of their choice, which can be the top choice for the dating profile picture!
I don’t think that there are enough men who realise just how therapeutic it can be taking good care of yourself.
However, I can almost guarantee that once you treat a man to a bit of pampering, he’ll never look back – especially if it means attracting plenty of attention on that dating website!
